Be careful when buying Souris Tilburg electric bicycles

We bought the Souris electric bicycle in Tilburg for €1,500, including the bike, three service visits, and location tracking, in October 2024. It started giving us problems in December 2024, and was unusable for a month because we couldn't get an appointment. It was repaired under warranty between January and February 2025. In April 2025, we scheduled the first service, but we noticed that the odometer showed 81,233 km. We reported this to the dealer, who told us that it wasn't possible to get one of the three service visits we'd paid for because the mileage had been exceeded. We explained that the odometer was defective because our son only used the bike to and from school, which is a 15-minute bike ride from home. We also reminded the owner that the bike had been unused for over a month due to the breakdown occurring less than two months after purchase. The owner decides to give us a single service without paying, and we ask for the odometer to be replaced. He tells us it needs to be ordered, and in the meantime, two months go by without receiving the new odometer because it never arrives. In June 2025, we bring the bike in for a second service and to have the chain guard fixed, which had cracked. This time, we ask for the new odometer to be returned. When we picked it up, we paid for the service that had already been paid for at the time of purchase, as well as for the brake pad replacement and the chain guard repair, €115.80. They postpone the odometer replacement from week to week, arriving in July 2025 when we were told that we had tampered with the odometer and they wouldn't replace it, which is absolutely untrue. On October 24, 2025, our son informs us that the bike's brakes aren't working, so we take it in for repair. They give us a quote of €283.30, which we refuse because it's excessive. When we went to pick up the broken bike, we were told that we had replaced the odometer with another one because the one we had didn't belong to the shop. We asked our son if it was possible that someone had replaced the part while the bike was parked, and he replied that the part was the same one we had when we bought it, confirming our "certainties." This review is to warn Tilburg residents who might want to buy from Souris, because too many people like us have had serious problems.
