On Aug. 29, 2021my wife and I went to Lazyboy Furniture Gallery in Lakeland FL. We ordered over $10,000 worth of custom furniture. Sharon, our sales persson told us tha there could be a 4 - 6 month wait or longer for our furniture. Sharon also said our furniture would probably come sooner. Sharon and the store manager, Debbie aredisingenuous, they promise to call you back and they rarely do so. When I last spoke to Sharon I found the the production of our furniture whas do to begin later this month. I wanted to cancel my order because of the way I was treated by Sharon and Debbie. My initial purchase order was not correct and the amended order was $500.00 more. For my $500.00 Lazy boy threw in 4 pillows. I am told that I must take delivery of the furniture weather I want it or not. 1) My first order was not done correctly, 2) My sales persson does not return calls promptly and sometimes, she doesn't return the calls at all! The store manager Debbie, does not return calls promptly and sometimes she doesn't return the calls at all.All the joy has gone out of this purchase! When I look at my new furniture if I get it I will remember how poorly I was treated by the staff at Lazy Boy! The sales taticts used by our sales person bordered on lying. Sharon did make us awhere that our order could take 4 - 6 months or longer, however she also said that the orders normally do not take that long. I think that is a vailed lie.If I really thought that it would take 6 months or longer to get my furniture I would have gone elsewhere.
