Since these are perishable items, they should have been delivered promptly to Iloilo. My mom checked at the local office and received a contact number that was never answered despite numerous attempts. The shipment arrived in Iloilo on January 3, but the tracking site had no updates. Finally, on January 6, the delivery person answered, and without my mom’s insistence, the delivery might have been postponed further. We received the fruits, but they were mostly spoiled; only the pomelo was edible. We were informed that the delay was not their fault but attributed to peak season issues at the receiving office.
