No sooner was my new laminate floor laid when I noticed it was chipped and scratched in multiple places. It had had no rough treatment from me and I imagine this must have happened in delivery (it didn’t occur to me to check every plank). However Leaderonline were completely dismissive of my complaint. After my first complaint I just received a ‘case closed’ notification, no further discussion. I kept going, on my 3rd complaint I was told it was ‘wear and tear’ … after 1 week! It was a cheaper floor (because I wanted beech and it was the only beech out there) but clearly it is not fit for purpose. Why sell such a crap product?! It cost £460 to have it laid! My last (bog-standard) laminate lasted 25 years, I doubt this one will last more than a couple.
