LegalZoom is a scam. The company may have started out with good intentions but is has been reduced to a multi-level scam. The initial person that sells you the service, in my case to set up a company, sells you on all the great things, like accounting services, that the approximately $2,000.00 fee will get you, then the registry paperwork they've filed on your behalf is done incorrectly so everything has to be resubmitted and still don't have my documents, the accounting service is, in fact not included in the LZ price and is an additional $3,000 and I haven't even been contacted yet by the company that is supposed to help with web design, I'm afraid to hear how much more that's going to cost me.
I've called LZ with these grievances and instead of speaking to someone in authority, my only recourse was speaking to a very polite, apologetic AI system that had no answers for me, just apologized and wished me a nice day.
Beware of this company, they are not legit.
