I was looking for a replacement laptop and went to PC Mag, who recommended a particular high-end Lenovo. Just what I was looking for: 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD HD, good graphics card, OLED touch screen, you name it. A bit pricy (even with the E300+ discount on offer) and the delivery date was 10 days out. This was a bit too long for my needs, but I liked the specs a lot, so decided i could wait. I placed the order. Two days later the two accessories i had ordered arrived, but no laptop. puzzeled, i clicked on the order info link and to my horror, I saw that the 'estimated' delivery date was well over a month out. I entered into the WhatsApp chat and eventually was communincating with a human. When i explained my woes, the human waved a magic wand and the ship and delivery date were reinstated (but not on the web interface.)Fine, I wated until the shippping date and reached out on WhatsApp again. Same process, communicated with Human 2, who assured me that the laptop was out for delivery and that I would receive an email with the updated information. The next morning i did receive the email. The subject read 'delayed delivery date' and we were back to the original very delayed delivery date.I left it another day expecting a positive update and then cancelled the order. I found the same laptop, albeit E100 more expensive, but still E200 below the RRP, with an Irish retailer promising 6-7 days delivery time. I ordered it. It was dispatched the next day and I fully expect it to arrive tomorrow - total of 2 days.
