Communication was restricted to email, and there was no clear or proactive attempt to ensure I understood that missing this deadline would result in the permanent cancellation of the application. Consequently, the application became inactive, and I am now required to pay again to reapply. In my view, this situation did not stem from my oversight, but rather from a lack of proper follow-up, accountability, and client communication. For a trademark issue—where deadlines can have irreversible effects—I expected a much higher standard of professionalism and diligence. Regrettably, that expectation was not fulfilled.
