My trademark application was managed by this attorney, and unfortunately, the process was marred by significant communication and follow-up issues. A crucial deadline set by the relevant authority was missed, leading to the abandonment of the application. What is most troubling is that, despite my phone number being on record, I was never contacted by phone about such an important and time-sensitive issue. Communication was restricted to email, and there was no clear or proactive attempt to ensure I understood that missing this deadline would result in the permanent cancellation of the application. Consequently, the application became inactive, and I am now required to pay again to reapply. In my view, this situation did not stem from my oversight, but rather from a lack of proper follow-up, accountability, and client communication. For a trademark issue—where deadlines can have irreversible effects—I expected a much higher standard of professionalism and diligence. Regrettably, that expectation was not fulfilled.
