Avoid at all costs, unreliable equipment and poor attitude to customers .I moved into a newly built property with a Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump and associated works and cylinder. First annual service visit was asked to do a flush at my own cost despite having a service plan. Year 2 asked for a flush to be done again and another strainer fitted - again at my cost. Same again in year 3. Years 4 and 5 I used another service provider and 5 years and 4 months in the unit was faulty again with error codes showing low flow. Turns out the heat exchanger itself is faulty or blocked. Mitsubishi say nothing to do with them as out of warranty - was told that Mitsubishi would have parts for up to 10 years before making them obsolete but his unit only installed 5 years ago from new is already no longer manufactured and parts are obsolete.I understand the unit is dated 2018 and obsolete already with no parts. All through the 5 years I found customer service to be poor, reliability is poor and I don’t think they have been very honest in any dealings. My installer did ask the Mitsubishi rep if they could offer any reduction in the cost of a new unit as they had broken their own pledge to offer parts for 10 years - no chance was the reply. Dreadful company to deal with , my system is 5.5 years old and needs replaced. Avoid Mitsubishi Ecodan at all costs is my advice
