We previously enjoyed the shuttle service to Calais, but the current pricing feels excessively high. While we can afford it, we see no reason to spend so much when a reputable ferry service can offer the same journey for less than half the price and only adds about an hour and a half to the travel time. The management appears to be lacking, particularly during busy periods. On our last trip, my family faced a very risky situation when traffic to the terminal backed up onto the local motorway in Calais, with no queue management in place and cars speeding towards the rear of the line in the dark and rain. I doubt we will choose this shuttle service again, especially with such inflated prices. They advertise day tickets for a car starting around £55, so it seems unreasonable for a regular return trip to exceed £400.
