I am usually one to post reviews, with this said, what I just endured needs to be shared, please be careful with this company! I used this moving company twice within the past year, and the only reason I hired them the second time was because my first move with them went so well. Unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite and extremely disappointing.During the move, several of my belongings were damaged beyond repair, this due to them not wrapping the items and placing items on top of each other in a pitch black truck. My hutch, couch, and chair that I purchased from Leon’s less than a year ago were damaged (grease stains and rip in my sofa), my television was broken, and a side table was completely destroyed. In addition, bedding items including mattress covers and sheets were damaged. Many of my boxes were clearly labelled, including ones marked “fragile", yet those boxes were still dumped on their sides, resulting in broken items inside.The handling of my belongings was careless throughout the move. Boxes that were clearly labelled for specific rooms were placed randomly throughout the house, making unpacking far more difficult. Fragile boxes were not treated with any additional care despite being marked.There were also serious issues with the conduct of the movers and the billing. I was overcharged by approximately 45 minutes, and when I questioned the charges, they held my belongings on the truck while arguing with me, allowing the clock to continue running. To make matters worse, the truck did not have a working light on the truck or ramp, which made unloading more difficult and unprofessional.Given how positive my first experience was, this was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The level of care, professionalism, and fairness that I experienced the first time was completely absent during this move.Please beware! My belongings were damaged, my items were handled carelessly, and I was charged for time spent arguing while my belongings were effectively held on the truck.
