LG’s quality has unfortunately become unreliable and lacking in durability. Our high-end washing machine developed serious faults just one month after its two-year warranty expired. Of recent, this is now the second premium LG product we’ve owned that has failed within one to two months after the 2 year warranty ended—something I find far too coincidental.
Over the past few years, I’ve purchased at least ten high-end LG products, believing that investing more upfront would deliver better long-term value. Instead, this has proven to be a costly mistake, and I feel misled by the brand’s premium positioning.
I was once a strong supporter of LG, but after this experience, I will not be purchasing their products again. My disappointment was compounded when I contacted their service center and was told that any technician visit and all repairs would be entirely at my expense. As a result, I had to make use of the services provided under our Mastercare policy. It is unacceptable that a washing machine just two years old—still in pristine condition—requires a motherboard replacement along with another component. LG’s failure to stand behind its claims of quality and reliable service is both frustrating and disappointing.
