I bought an LG washer dryer combo from Harvey Norman.
Five months later, it broke down and I contacted customer service for a solution. It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced, with rude phone operators and no time given for the technician’s visit.
The technician only calls 30 minutes before arriving and did not fix the issue at all. The machine broke down again two days later after being repaired.
Getting a store credit was nothing but a nightmare. Stay away from LG, it is one of the worst companies to deal with.
I purchased an LG washer, and after only 2 months it required 4 repair visits and still did not work reliably. LG offered a replacement and will remove the old unit, This is not standard wrranty situation , yet they still refuse to provide professional installation of the new washer. It has been over a month with no resolution, causing significant stress. Communication and support from LG have been poor. I am still waiting for proper resolution and fair compensation.
I bright LG oven range on Nov 8 2025The oven have never worked . I have talked to customer service,President liaison still today no resolution. They have have tech out who show up anytime they want even when you have appointment. The rep filed a claim to replace this oven. The claim was denied because part LG I have not had three text come in my house the cat who came in my house that they ordered the part which is on backorder until March. So I have a non-working range that I paid my heart earned working money for that has never worked. They sent the check back to my house who I requested. I’ve ever seen her back again because he appeared to know what he was doing when he came. He brought no dad knocked his tool anything. This company has very bad. Poor customer service. I would never buy no LG parts again pissed off customer beware don’t buy. I could not cook Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner or New Year’s Day dinner LG do not care about customers. They did not care that I could not cook dinner. They do not care you have to spend your money eating out every night or something because you bought the oven arrangement that does not work.
Premature defect – unacceptable durability
I acquired this dryer from a major retailer, and after just about a year of standard household use, the paint started to peel off the unit (see photo). This is clearly a durability issue and not typical wear and tear.
I reached out to the customer service team for assistance, but they were unhelpful and declined to take responsibility. This is disappointing, particularly for a well-known brand sold by a reputable store.
According to local consumer protection standards, an appliance at this price point should last longer than a year without defects. I anticipated better quality and more effective support.
Due to this experience, I cannot endorse this dryer or the customer service.
The dishwasher was faulty from the start and would not function correctly. After three weeks, the service team replaced a part based on the issues I described over the phone. Even with the new part installed, the dishwasher continued to malfunction. I immediately reached out to the company for a refund. As of January 13, 2026, this problem has continued for a long time, and I have not yet received my refund. The company picked up the defective dishwasher, but after six weeks of asking for my money back, I am still waiting for the reimbursement.
We acquired three cooking appliances directly from the company and opted for extended warranties on all. While the products might be satisfactory, the purchasing and delivery process has been utterly chaotic. We faced five unsuccessful delivery attempts, including two instances where there was no communication from the delivery service. Timeline: 12/10: The delivery service canceled at the end of the day citing 'unforeseen circumstances' after we had waited all day, resulting in a lost workday due to rearranged schedules. 12/15: The delivery was canceled early in the morning, indicating it was likely never properly scheduled. 12/19: The first no call no show occurred. We monitored the tracking as the truck made deliveries nearby but skipped ours entirely, with no communication whatsoever. 12/26: We were informed it was a 'rescheduled delivery date,' but the truck never departed. Once again, there was no proactive communication from the delivery team. 01/02/2026: The fifth failed delivery and another no call no show happened. We again watched the truck in our vicinity but missed our delivery. Conflicting information:
At one point, the delivery service suggested we cancel and reorder so the company could use a different delivery provider, which would have cost us discounts. Later, the company claimed they could not change the delivery service. This inconsistency raises questions about honesty. On the latest failure (01/02/2026), we reached out to both the company and the delivery service multiple times. They confirmed our details were correct but provided conflicting information regarding the delivery window. Ultimately, we faced yet another failed delivery. Lack of accountability:
The company chose the delivery service and failed to take responsibility after multiple failures. Support responses were corporate jargon with no real solutions, often suggesting we could just cancel the order, implying the issue was with us. Impact:
We modified cabinetry in anticipation of the wall oven installation, leaving us without a functioning oven during the holidays. We lost valuable time, repeatedly adjusted work schedules, and received no meaningful follow-through. Conclusion:
This is not a complaint about product quality but rather a caution regarding purchasing directly from the company and the associated fulfillment and support experience. Be cautious: the company seems indifferent once they have your payment.
Avoid This Brand!
This brand completely neglects its customers after the order is placed. When delivery dates are not met, you are left to handle issues directly with their delivery contractor — a company with which you have no agreement or influence. You're compelled to negotiate, plead, and express frustration to a third party. They use a specific delivery service, which has failed to arrive twice — with no communication whatsoever. No calls, no texts, no emails, and certainly no refrigerator. It's been nearly three weeks, and we still have no idea where our appliance is or if it even exists. We’ve contacted both the brand and the delivery service numerous times, and each time we speak with a different representative, receiving no answers and making no headway. The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating. Spare yourself the trouble and choose a company that truly stands by its delivery commitments.
I spent the entire day waiting for my washer to arrive. I had to reach out to the support team twice for updates, only to learn that my machine wouldn't be available for another two weeks. I asked for a refund and was informed it would take an additional 7-10 days to process. The call center staff had very limited English skills. I strongly advise against using this service under any circumstances.
We bought a refrigerator that failed after 6 years because of a compressor issue. I would suggest looking for alternatives if possible. We contacted the support team, and while they are offering to fix it, we are responsible for the repair costs, which seems unreasonable given the known compressor problems with these units.
I strongly discourage purchasing this washer-dryer combo. I was drawn in by the claims that it could wash and dry in under 2 hours. While the washing aspect works adequately, the drying process takes more than 6 hours, which is very frustrating and deceptive. Additionally, the after-sales support was severely lacking. The team, including management, was unprofessional and dismissive, failing to address my concerns appropriately. It's best to save your time and money and look for a different option.
