I (Tara) went throw different builders and stuck with LGI . I thought it is good builder. We were scheduled for a tour. The sales guy showed us the first... was small. We were looking for 3 bed and 2 bath1800 sqft. So we moved on to next. The sales guy said it’s 1800 sqft. I liked the house. He asked me to put down $1000 to take house off the market. He said it’s completely refundable incase I change my mind or if I don’t workout so I put $1000 down. Since it is my first home, I went through internet and did a bit of research on it. The research revealed the home Wichita he said 1800 sqft.was 1600+ and the one he said 1600 was only 1300+ sqft. I felt fishy and deceiving. So I call the sales guy to cancel the deal. Now the guy says they already spend 2k for appraisal and I haven’t done the underwriting for mortgage how do they do appraisal. So be careful first Time home buyers. They have second back door conditions not to pay back. Incase sales manager see this review I hope you do review in this case, retrain your sales guy. Some are completely unprofessional. He called me. As soon as I pick the call, He was yelling at me. I don’t deserve this.
