I’m here for my weekly update concerning Liberty Home Guard.
DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY!! They will tell you everything you want to get you to buy, then they won’t pay.
I started a claim back in November 2025. I was told when I purchased they had people in my area. That was a lie. They don’t. So now it’s on me to find someone. They tell me once I find someone have them reach out and they will approve them to do repairs. I did this. It took weeks to get approved so they came out in December. Once the repairman was out I had to pay the service call. Then submit parts and cost for repair to the company. Liberty wants to buy all the parts. Fine. It takes another month to even get the right part number because they don’t pay attention to the repair company.
So finally they get the right part number. They call with the good news. This is now February. They tell me the service call will be reimbursed and the part is being shipped. GREAT! Finally!! BUT … they will not cover the cost to install the part. What kind of warranty company does not cover the cost to install the part they shipped? I am told they DO NOT PAY FOR INSTALL!! What a rip off. They lie. They have no integrity. They are bait and switch.
