Lidl Plus offers fantastic discounts and weekly deals, a real help for families and great for reducing paper waste.But it’s also unfair. Many loyal shoppers, especially older people or those without smartphones, can’t access these offers at all. Not everyone wants or is able to use an app, yet they end up paying more for the same products.Lidl could make its system more inclusive by offering a physical loyalty card, a phone number option, or printed coupons.The deals are great, the access isn’t. A fair loyalty scheme should reward all loyal customers, not just smartphone users.
