I returned a faulty item, however, Lighting Direct aren't prepared to offer a refund as the item got chipped between when it was packaged up and sent back, and when it arrived at the warehouse. This I could accept, but the tone of the email from Customer Services (Jayne Bates, Returns Co-ordinator) was actually quite rude, stating that my builders must have caused the damage when 'carelessly' repacking the item. I don't think there was any need to make an accusation like this by email, when the damage could have been caused along the drive or when being unpacked back at the warehouse. Very disappointed with the response and will shop elsewhere in future, based on the Customer Service received.
