Lightspeed once again fails to work out the bugs with updates that do not actually help.

Problems Lightspeed has that would be helpful and time saving to fix, are not fixed. Instead Lightspeed tries new stuff that cause additional issues instead of getting the basics down.

For example, Lightspeed R has some new crap for account and deposits. But the deposited money from customers is not available to use. And error message
"Could not process deposit usage. Please try again."

After many attempts and rebooting, we connected with support. Support wasted more time and then disconnected when I was helping a customer. Support also suggested we call their use number. When I was one forever hold, the lightspeed phone message as to use their online tech support. A real catch 22.
Ultimately after waiting for a long time on the phone, Lightspeed disconnected the call.

With further research I learned lightspeed has a "Major system issue" and that issue was noted 4 hours ago. And the "Major System Issue" is related to our issue.

Lightspeeds support does not know what is going on and did not seem to know that there was an issue that made what we where needing to do impossible.

Yes! Lightspeed is not even able to communicate within their own business let alone actually help their paying customers.

I would never ever suggest anyone get involved with Lightspeed other than to short their stock and actively promote how Lightspeed is not able to perform as they claim.
If like us your stuck with this horrify poorly manage POS do not us there tech support. Go get a cup of coffee and a pen and paper and do things manually and pry Lightspeed figures something out.

There are plenty of other POS programs.
I have several other complaints if someone wants more information.
