I just had a phone call from our EPOS provider (VEND), demanding we integrate our card sales with their payment provider. If we currently carry on with our existing provider, they will charge us a gateway fee of £150 a month. I paid them £828 for a year's subscription in July, which isn't refundable if I cancel. Basically, it's extortion.I'm guessing my only option is to move to their provider for the next 11 months or write off the proportion of unused subscription. I can't see what else I can do.I am incredibly angry with Vend for this and am surprised it's not illegal.
