Talk about legalized scamming - this company takes the prize. I cancelled my policy when I sold the car. They did nothing. I cancelled it three more times with no result. In view of the fact that the policy was close to the end I simply shrugged my shoulders and turned my back on them. When the policy would have been due for renewal I got a message from my bank that these scammers had tried to debit the premium again. Luckily they had details of a cancelled card so they went away empty handed.UPDATEI got a reminder that the insurance due for renewal but they had not been able to collect the premium. It went on to tell me of the penalties for driving an uninsured car and that the police had been informed. You can imagine my response - it was shall we say indignant?Shortly after that I got a mail telling me that the policy was cancelled but mad no mention of the 5 months the policy had been running after I had initially cancelled it - Big Business Bully
