Predatory identity verification process and poor support.
LinkedIn are forcing people at random to verify their identity by providing sensitive documents such as passport, residence permit, etc...
You can no longer use LinkedIn without identity verification.
Even after you do identity verification, they randomly ask you to do it again out of the blue.
Corresponding with their support is like talking to a wall.
Their support staff don't read your email or put effort to understand what you're telling them. They keep copy pasting the exact same email without providing any meaningful support or answer.
Overall, I think it's time for companies to stop glorifying LinkedIn since LinkedIn doesn't deserve this level of respect as a platform.
Overall, after going through their terrible UI and the amount of hassle I had to go through just to be met by their rude support staff, am abandoning LinkedIn for good.
I don't care if companies, employers, etc... don't like it. We shouldn't be slaves to a platform that doesn't give us the treatment we deserve for the money we are paying them.
