Horrible, Scammed, No support .... I posted a job using my debit card, charged me for 4 days while the job was closed in a few hours since posted, and charged me 50% more than the actual as per fixed budget per day..and here is a creepy part, you cant remove ur debit card from the billing section and support keeps sending Auto responds when you try to reachout... Use this app but never think of using any card or banking with these scammers... Horrible exp..I blocked my card to exit this scam.
I'm finally giving up with LinkedIn. Their security measures are completely over the top. I've opened 3 separate accounts, all of which I've been locked out of because they make it impossible to verify your account.
Bye bye LinkedIn.
LinkedIn has always been monkeys in a suit.
Now that I have given into it the last 5 years, it is utterly exhausting.
Everything feels staged and superficial. Every post is a humblebrag disguised as wisdom. Layoffs get spun into “exciting new chapters” and authentic voices are drowned out by people chasing likes and clout. Seriously, did I mention superficial?
It is nonstop commercial spam. Recruiters blast copy-paste messages. People push webinars or life-changing coaching. There is endless self-promotion masquerading as networking and then there are the scams, fake jobs, sketchy investment schemes, and bots flooding your feed with AI-generated nonsense.
The culture is petty too. Engagement pods, obligatory “Congrats!” comments to stay visible, and everyone obsessed with metrics instead of real connection.
In theory, it could be a professional tool. In reality, it is like a polished, awkward dating app for professionals, where everyone is hustling and performing for attention in a way that is utterly pathetic and rather nauseating that whatever is left of humanity... has come to this.
Predatory identity verification process and poor support.
LinkedIn are forcing people at random to verify their identity by providing sensitive documents such as passport, residence permit, etc...
You can no longer use LinkedIn without identity verification.
Even after you do identity verification, they randomly ask you to do it again out of the blue.
Corresponding with their support is like talking to a wall.
Their support staff don't read your email or put effort to understand what you're telling them. They keep copy pasting the exact same email without providing any meaningful support or answer.
Overall, I think it's time for companies to stop glorifying LinkedIn since LinkedIn doesn't deserve this level of respect as a platform.
Overall, after going through their terrible UI and the amount of hassle I had to go through just to be met by their rude support staff, am abandoning LinkedIn for good.
I don't care if companies, employers, etc... don't like it. We shouldn't be slaves to a platform that doesn't give us the treatment we deserve for the money we are paying them.
WTF????
My account has been closed 8 years, and suddenly I receive mails from LinkedIn and cannot unsubscribe. I do not want your f****** mails - I receive pension now, so no career in the Horizon - SO STOP SENDING MAILS - IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THAT, YOU ARE AFTER ALL AN AMERICAN COMPANY.........
I reported Identity Theft to them by a career criminal using LinkedIn on my tablet while I was asleep. He had been doing handyman work in my house. I didn't know his background. He was using another guy's identity he got on LinkedIn. I notified them Im disabled, not working, and asked for refund cuz I didn't sign up. I filed a case with them and proved I was being charged. I dont use them cuz not looking for job. To date they've not refunded the illegal charges this career criminal did on my tablet I didn't know about. I want the $150 refunded ASAP. I've emailed them.multiple times to no avail.
The lack of proper vetting for individuals seeking assistance is alarming. This service seems more focused on profit than genuinely helping users. It feels like they’re just building a database rather than providing real job opportunities. It's frustrating to see such disregard for users' needs.
I submitted a review on a platform, but it was blocked due to statements they deemed politically biased. I had no option to amend my comment or reach out for clarification. My feedback was regarding my ongoing challenges with customer service, despite being a loyal customer for over a decade. It's ironic that they seem to cater to those in power while disregarding genuine customer experiences.
