System isn't customer focussed even if staff are OK.

Ordered 4 items for a function in 2 weeks time - promised 3-4 day delivery. Didn't turn up. On enquiry 2 items not available yet so not shipped to Canberra yet - no advice received about delay I had to call. The unshipped items are available in store in Canberra so I offerred to pick those up instead, but the other 2 are not available in Canberra. I proposed they ship the 2 they have elsewhere and I would pickup the 2 available locally. BUT no they can't split the order! The helpdesk lady was efficent and performed well but her "system" is not customer friendly at all. I cancelled it all (yet to receive the money and no text/email confirming cancellation) and had no problem at the competitor shops.
