I was excited to start hosting with this service, especially for their professional cleaning. I left my house uncleaned per their instructions for an upcoming guest. Unfortunately, my guest canceled just a day before their booking. I learned that the cleaners were no longer coming, and the guest gets most of the cleaning fee back, even with a last-minute cancellation. I feel let down, as I followed all the instructions and now have to find a new cleaner with little time and cost. Why should hosts suffer when guests cancel? This policy is unreasonable. This was my first hosting attempt, and I'm very disappointed.
