We took out a business loan with Lloyds which was paid off many years ago. However, I now learn that they did not release the security on the loan (apparently our business relationship manager should have attended to this at the time, but it didn't happen). Now we are no longer with Lloyds Bank, releasing security becomes impossible. No-one other than the Securities Team can deal with this, but no-one there answers the phone (tried numerous occasions and even after 2 hours and 51 minutes no one has picked up). Was advised to email them and mark as "URGENT". No one replies to emails either despite several chasers. Now waiting for someone in the Complaints Team to get back to me and if unresolved within the next few days I will contact the Financial Ombudsman. Utterly unacceptable to be able to contact anyone in the Securities Team after more than one week of trying.
