I ordered an item from Lloyds Pharmacy,
After 2 days in transit it ended up stuck at my local delivery depot for a further 3 days with no update or attempt to send it out for delivery.
I contacted lloyds pharmacy customer service only to ask if they could find out what's going on by contacting the courier to see if the item had got lost or when it would be sent out for delivery.
but instead of checking with the courier, they issued a refund and arranged for the parcel to be returned to them (even though it was at my local delivery depot near by) then they added that they couldn’t send a replacement for recalling the item back as there was no more stock.
However, the website at this same time showed the item still had multiple stock left.
This meant I needed to place another order for the same item.
So currently I have 2 withdrawals out of my bank for this item until the refund goes through!
& My original items is now in transit going all the way back to them, while its replacement is in transit coming from them!
It could have been so much easier if they just checked with the courier if they actually had the item or if it was lost,
or if they simply sent out a replacement instead of refunding the payment when they arranged for the item to be returned to them, just for me to pay them again
They also could have replied to my email
But still nothing after a day and a half later!
Really frustrating experience
And poor customer help/service
Seemed like they didn't bother try and instead took the easy quick option of taking the item back and refunding it instead.
