Bought the TRINITYDeep Mahogany Calf LeatherF Fit / Leather Sole / 1880 Classic, 1880 Export Grade Collection - had high expectations of these. However, overall, very disappointing. The attention to detail and build of the shoes is very good, and the mirror shine on the toes is a nice touch - but the last shape, proportions and therefore the overall fit is poor. The shoe looks longer and thinner on the images but actually is a lot wider and therefore, the length looks stubby and too wide. The area around the ankle is also therefore wide and doesn’t fit anywhere near as snugly as it should. Strangely, my right shoe ankle area fits slightly loser than my left. I usually have the opposite problem because my right foot is slightly larger than my left. I presume these shoes would have met expectations if the last was 1/4 to 2/3 slimmer. Have decided to keep them anyway because I’ve worn them and it’s also a shoe I mainly intend to wear in the summer when a roomier shoe is manageable.
