The team I worked with was so pushy and overwhelming that I ended up going with a different lendor. Using a VA IRRL refinance loan on current mortgage and rather than listen to what I was trying to do they pushed cash out, when I specifically said I didn’t want that and then proceeded to tell me I didn’t want certain things to not have to run numbers for different options. When they said they couldn’t do a certain rate, after discussion and me walking away they would reach back out with the rate as an offer. The experience was horrible and even though the rate was lower, I will not finance through them. I did end up getting a better rate through rocket mortgage a few days later. They kept contacting me and when I told them I am not proceeding with them due to better rate, the agent basically called me a liar saying he doubted anyone beat his rate. Horrible customer service. Very pushy and rude.
