Everything Damian said would happen happened. There were no surprises, and the rate was by far the best out there. I was working with another lender who kept telling me that Damian wasn't being truthful with me, that there's no way he can offer the rate he did. Ironically, that lender is the one who made promises he couldn't keep with new surprises in each updated loan disclosure. Damian has a customer for life.
The team I worked with was so pushy and overwhelming that I ended up going with a different lendor. Using a VA IRRL refinance loan on current mortgage and rather than listen to what I was trying to do they pushed cash out, when I specifically said I didn’t want that and then proceeded to tell me I didn’t want certain things to not have to run numbers for different options. When they said they couldn’t do a certain rate, after discussion and me walking away they would reach back out with the rate as an offer. The experience was horrible and even though the rate was lower, I will not finance through them. I did end up getting a better rate through rocket mortgage a few days later. They kept contacting me and when I told them I am not proceeding with them due to better rate, the agent basically called me a liar saying he doubted anyone beat his rate. Horrible customer service. Very pushy and rude.
Jason was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and reachable through this entire process of buying my first home. I’d absolutely recommend him to others, especially first-time home buyers! He was quick to answer the phone, emails, texts, and kept communication open throughout this whole process. I appreciate him and Kayla as well for helping us and answering all of our questions.
