I tried three petrol stations near malpensa airport Terminal 1, all of which would only take cash because the system was down. I tried driving in various places for half an hour to find a petrol station which took cards. In the end I was running late and came back to malpensa after they had already given me directions which were incorrect. So they charged me €50 because the tank wasn't full. I was happy with the one-way rental charge from Venice to malpensa, but I was not happy that they charged me a lot more than the daily rate for two extra days. They told me that everyone else was coming with full tanks and they had paid by card - insinuating that I was lying. The computer system at the passport gates was also playing up which is probably why was the same thing at the petrol stations. Very glad to get on the plane back to Australia. I will be contacting them asking for a refund. I don't like the attitude of being ripped off wherever you can be ripped off. I would suggest a lot of these reviews are bought - there's no way this company could receive 4.6 Stars.
