A group of six friends and I booked a week-long stay at a hotel in early August. Unfortunately, two of our planned excursions were canceled without any alternative options provided. The train ride excursion was on a crowded commuter train with insufficient seating. The temporary coach driver lacked enthusiasm and failed to make our trips engaging or informative. The evening meals did not meet the standards we anticipated, and the bar prices were excessively high. Our only form of compensation was a ten-pound refund for not being able to visit a specific attraction. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience.
