Wonderful holiday from the time we met the coach until we said out goodbyes! Hotel was excellent, food scrumptious in a traditional way and all the staff couldn't be more helpful..... I wanted to stay longer as it felt like a welcoming home. A big thank you for such a marvellous break.
We just got back from our stay and it was delightful. The hotel was charming, the staff were friendly, and the food was enjoyable. A special shout out to our driver, who was an absolute asset to the service. My only concern was that the bedroom was quite cold, making the heating seem ineffective. The entertainment area was chilly as well, so it's wise to bring a sweater. Aside from that, I couldn't find any faults with the holiday. We're already planning our next trip. Kudos to the team for an excellent coach experience! 👍
A group of six friends and I booked a week-long stay at a hotel in early August. Unfortunately, two of our planned excursions were canceled without any alternative options provided. The train ride excursion was on a crowded commuter train with insufficient seating. The temporary coach driver lacked enthusiasm and failed to make our trips engaging or informative. The evening meals did not meet the standards we anticipated, and the bar prices were excessively high. Our only form of compensation was a ten-pound refund for not being able to visit a specific attraction. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience.
We are thankful for everything done to ensure a joyful experience for guests at a hotel. Over the years, we have stayed at various locations and have never had a negative experience, which speaks volumes about the appreciation we have for everyone involved.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Loch Awe, with a room offering stunning views of the loch. The staff were friendly. However, I feel some updates are needed, and not all entertainment was great. The first two days were fantastic, especially the piper on New Year’s Eve, but the rest of the entertainment, particularly that night, fell short. Still, it wouldn’t deter me from returning.
I had a wonderful holiday; the staff at the hotel were exceptional, making my stay very enjoyable. Our coach driver was outstanding, and the food offered a great variety for both breakfast and dinner. The room was well-maintained and a good size for a single. I will definitely book again for next year.
