I had made a reservation for tonight and contacted in advance to request a quiet table by the window, as I was celebrating my birthday alone. I was assured over the phone that this would be arranged. Upon arrival, I was informed that this was not possible at all, and the way the manager handled it was cold, rude, and dismissive. There was no apology, no effort to find a solution, and no kindness — just a blunt refusal with a simple 'no, this is all we have'. To make matters worse, the manager's tone was cold and almost aggressive when they added, 'the kitchen will close in one hour', which felt like a rush to push me out or discourage me from staying. I can't comprehend how this behavior is acceptable towards a client who made a reservation, called in advance with a specific request, and came for a birthday celebration. Even if my request couldn't be met, I would have expected at least a polite explanation and an apology. Unfortunately, none of that occurred. Due to this attitude and the complete disregard for what was promised, I chose not to stay. A dining experience is about more than just food; hospitality is key, and that was entirely absent. Truly disappointing.
