Decided to change my usual order and purchased the Eaton Mess, with vanilla icing. Really disappointed. The sponge when cutting the cake crumbled!!! No matter what knife I used. I buy at least 3 to 4 cakes per year from Lola and this was sadly not up to scratch. Plus the vanilla icing tasted soapy. It was not a cheap cake, but I will not be buying it again.
