I’ve always loved Lola’s Cupcakes. The quality is consistently high, and most of their cakes are genuinely delicious. I was excited to see a smaller version of the Tutti Frutti cake, which is a great idea. However, I was disappointed to find that the icing has been changed from cream cheese to buttercream. The new version is far too sweet and lacks the fresh, tangy balance the original had. It’s a real shame, as that cream cheese frosting used to perfectly complement the fruity flavours.
