Review Time
I was initially hesitant to write this review because I wanted to give the clinic the benefit of the doubt, but after more than a month with no communication, I feel I need to share my experience.
I attended an initial consultation at London Dermatology Clinic for acne treatment, for which I paid a £200 consultation fee. During the appointment, the doctor very quickly recommended putting me on Roaccutane. I followed all the required steps promptly, including completing blood tests and arranging contraception as instructed.
After this, I contacted the clinic to confirm that my blood test results should have been received. Since then, I have had no response at all. It has now been over a month since my initial consultation, and despite multiple attempts to get in touch via phone and email, I have not heard anything back.
To make matters more concerning, the phone line appears to be out of service, and my emails have gone unanswered. I feel I have given ample opportunity for the clinic to respond or provide an update, but unfortunately that has not happened.
Given the complete lack of communication and follow-up, I have now contacted my bank regarding the £200 fee, as I am concerned about the service I received.
This experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning. Based on what I have experienced, I would not recommend using this clinic under any circumstances.
I had a cyst removed on Wednesday at 1pm and at first I was pleased with the procedure but overnight my dressing was absolutely saturated with blood and when I rang the clinic at 8am on Thursday morning l was told that it would be flagged straight away as urgent and would be contacted ASAP. I’m writing this review 12 hours later and I still have had no response whatsoever. I was so worried that my stitches had burst that I ended up going to A&E for the best part of 4 hours to seek treatment that should have been done by this clinic. I am so disappointed that once I had left and paid in full for my treatment that no one had the manners or decency to ring me back needless to say l will not be recommending that anyone else uses this clinic. Please please avoid

Awful customer service!I paid £200 for a consultation and received a diagnosis for spots on my face. I asked him to send me a copy of the notes as I am dyslexic and only remember these things when I read in hardcopy. He agreed and also said he would send a copy to my GP as I needed antibiotics for spots on my back, and I couldn't afford their prescription on top of everything else.Neither thing was done. They made an appointment for me to have treatment on my face at a cost of £300. I received no information about the process or aftercare at all. So I cancelled my appointment and lost my £50 deposit. I asked for information about the procedure and aftercare and was told I would receive that along with my consultation notes.I am still waiting! This company is one I would definitely avoid as their customers receive no care in my opinion.
Fantastic experience. Ok so it was just a mole removed nothing big but was made to feel welcome and it has healed nicely cannot tell it was there. Did need to go back for a checkup as my dressing was loose but that was no bother either, panic over.
Avoid this clinic!!, After extracting close on £400 for an initial consultation and some blood tests, (which I had to chase up to get a response, the phone just rings and rings), my private prescription finally arrived , at a cost of over £500 per month for the medication.I did say then I wouldn't be going ahead with those drugs and could anything else be recommended?Never heard back as presumably as the cash has dried up, they were no longer interested in helping me.
Can't recommend this dermatology clinic, did a not great job on removal of a facial mole, (one raised skin coloured mole, now left with 2 raised bumps instead) Asked if they could fix it, manager actually called me which I thought was good, booked in to have it fixed, travelled all the way into central London, to just be told they can't do anything for 6 months after treatment.. (another 4 months) Cost me money and wasted my whole Saturday afternoon, beautiful weather out too. Not pleased. Spent over £1200 (including £80 for a 1 minute consultation which basically consisted of "i'd like these moles removed - ok yes we can do that")Wanted these few moles removed before starting a new job that requires me to be clean shaven every single day. Now will have to wait and have this fixed during that job. Not ideal..
Terrible company - do not trust! They charged £195 for a 5 min consultation where they provided zero help or advice for an urgent skin condition. Awful experience - she made me feel like I was a nuisance and inconvenience - rude and no personal skills or interest whatsoever - a complete waste of money. Do no recommend!
Well this is a review which I’m writing from the reception of the clinic. Now 50 mins late and counting. I was told my appointment was delayed by 30 mins via text. And now I’m sitting here wondering if anyone is going to give me an update. A very unprofessional service. I strongly recommend people to go elsewhere, there are plenty of choices.
