i took an old fender acoustic guitar in the store for appraisal. The luthier saw that it was an old fender and just said the old fenders were just cheap japanese. He did not even try to determine anything about the guitar. It is possible that he is right, but I have been playing this guitar for 50 years it is in excellent condition and sounds great.
