Initially, our experience with Loomloft was a good one. Syka was very personable and reassuring about the quality sofa we had chosen. Fast forward five weeks and our sofa is delivered. Don't be fooled by the 'white glove' delivery service. Ours was delivered in a dirty old van with two drivers who both had filthy hands (no gloves until I asked for them to be used), handling our brand new pale coloured sofa!
Sofa looks beautiful ... until you actually want to sit on it. Sofa seat cushions immediately start to flatten and back support cushions (I use the word 'support' very loosely) are useless. Put into the mix, also, that one of the sections of our sofa has been made so that it's a completely different height from the rest ...
Anyway after a visit from Loomlofts independent furniture specialist, who wanted to 'adjust' our unadjustable sofa feet to solve the problem, we told them to report the issue back to Loomloft. We are now eight months from the date we ordered the Adia corner sofa and snuggled sofa chair. Both items were collected and returned yesterday (this time by an excellent service and two very professional guys) and a full refund is on its way. The showroom is amazing and the staff extremely attentive, I've no doubt the café is amazing too, however the furniture quality (the Adia) is absolutely dreadful. Can I just say throughout this sorry episode, we have been fully supported by the customer service team. The one star award is purely down to the quality of the items we bought, the awful delivery service and the 'independant sofa specialist' who's comments were laughable. Be careful with your choices from this Company.
As to your response Loomloft, the technician wanted to adjust an unadjustable leg. We sent him packing after this ridiculous suggestion. He was told to report the issue to you and not waste our time. Here's a suggestion, get the quality right the first time. To your offer of a replacement, yes initially we thought it would be okay but the standard of the items you sold us was dreadful, therefore the replacement (being standardised as told by your own staff) would be the same.
Again steer clear of the Adia.
