I’m not here to criticize the museum (which also has plenty of flaws) but their online ticketing system. Basically Louvre acts as a dictator when it comes to their ticket policy: no refunds except for a few very hyper-specific reasons, no date and time changes, no grace period whatsoever. They receive millions of visitors every year but they still decide to nickle and dime with obtuse inflexibility.My complaint is due to the fact that during my payment process something went wrong and I ended up with a ticket for the wrong date. Mind you, I double and triple checked the date but due to some kind of connection error my page got refreshed and while initially everything seemed normal it was obvious that the date was changed to 5 days after my desired date.It didn’t matter that I contacted Louvre within 30 minutes of my issue: they have no tolerance whatsoever. My money is gone and it feels like Louvre stole it from me.
