I recently purchased a mother-daughter ring as a Christmas gift for my daughter, and we were both extremely disappointed when the gem fell out less than two hours after she received it. It was quite embarrassing for me as a mother, especially since it symbolized our relationship. The outcome was far from ideal, and we are not satisfied.
