Very disappointing stay – would not recommend

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from the start. On the first night we had to request a room change because the original room was very dirty. The first room had a sofa and fridge, but the room we were moved to was much more basic with two beds and a small table between them. There were only two plug sockets and the one beside the bed was loose and not properly attached to the wall, which didn’t feel safe.

The all-inclusive food was very poor. Most of the meals were either overcooked or undercooked and often served cold, and there was very little variety. It definitely wasn’t worth paying for all-inclusive.

The heating in the hotel wasn’t working, which meant the rooms were freezing. We had to ask for extra blankets just to get through the night.

The rooms are very dated and poorly maintained. There were no basic amenities like a fridge or kettle, the paint was chipped and the walls were dirty. The bathroom was particularly unpleasant, with grime in the bath and broken tiles on the walls and floor. The wardrobes in both rooms we stayed in had a very bad smell.

The pool was unheated and freezing, so it wasn’t usable. There were also chickens and roosters wandering around the pool area, which might seem charming but unfortunately meant bird faeces everywhere, making it unhygienic.

We were only there for the weekend, but when we tried to book spa treatments we were told there was no availability until Wednesday, even though we were leaving on Monday. The spa pools themselves were dirty and covered in grime.

Overall this hotel is poorly maintained, unclean, and not worth the money. I would definitely avoid staying here.
