Giving three stars feels a bit harsh, but some products just don't taste good. The standard organic kimchi is fantastic, but the Hot’n’Smoky variety is quite tough; it has thick cabbage stalks packed tightly in the jar, making it dry and rubbery. Chewing it is a challenge, and I found myself spitting it out. It's disappointing because the flavor is good, but the texture is off-putting. I urge the company to make reviews more accessible for those of us who order directly. The standard kimchi was great, but I won't be trying the Hot’n’Smoky again, even if offered for free.
