I am writing this review to warn others about my experience with Lowell Financial Ltd. Background:

I am writing this review to warn others about my experience with Lowell Financial Ltd.

Background:
Lowell purchased an alleged debt from Three Mobile and pursued me for £195.02 (later £295.32 with court fees) despite having no evidence I owed anything.

The Facts:
- I returned a WiFi device to Three Mobile on 5 July 2023
- DPD courier confirmed delivery on 7 July 2023 (tracking: 1550 3948 705 664)
- Three Mobile continued billing me AFTER I returned the device
- I have objective, third-party proof from DPD that the device was returned

What Lowell Did:
1. Purchased this "debt" without verifying its validity
2. Pursued court action despite my evidence
3. Obtained a County Court Judgment against me on 16 January 2026
4. Have NEVER provided any credit agreement showing I owed money
5. Failed to respond to my Subject Access Request within the legal deadline (requested 12 Jan 2026, deadline 9 Feb 2026, no response until 13 Feb - and only after I threatened to complain to the ICO)
6. Ignored comprehensive evidence I sent on 12 January 2026 proving the debt was invalid

The Impact:
- CCJ on my credit file for 6 years (until January 2032)
- Cannot get credit, loans, or mortgages
- Difficulty renting accommodation
- Severe stress and anxiety
- All of this despite having PROOF the debt doesn't exist

GDPR Breaches:
I submitted a Subject Access Request on 12 January 2026 under UK GDPR Article 15. Lowell missed the statutory one-month deadline (9 February 2026) and only responded on 13 February after I threatened to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Even then, they only sent an acknowledgment, not the actual information requested.

I have requested erasure of my data (as they have no legal basis to process it), but they have refused.

Current Status:
- I have filed an application to set aside the CCJ (29 January 2026)
- I have filed a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (26 February 2026)
- I am claiming costs and damages for their unfounded pursuit

What Evidence Have They Provided?
ZERO. No credit agreement, no breakdown of charges, no explanation for how the debt was calculated, no evidence I ever agreed to any terms with Three Mobile.

My Evidence:
- DPD tracking confirmation from an independent courier
- Emails to Three Mobile cancelling service
- Three Mobile bills showing charges AFTER device return
- Timeline of all events
- Bank statements proving financial hardship

Warning to Others:
If Lowell contacts you about a debt:
1. Request evidence IMMEDIATELY (credit agreement, breakdown of charges)
2. If you have proof the debt is invalid, provide it and keep records
3. Submit a Subject Access Request under GDPR
4. Don't be bullied - they may proceed without evidence
5. File complaints with ICO if they ignore your GDPR rights
6. Consider legal action if they obtain CCJs without evidence

Why 1 Star?
I would give zero stars if I could. Lowell's business model appears to be buying debts without verifying validity, then pursuing people who cannot afford to defend themselves. They ignored objective proof from a third-party courier and obtained a CCJ that will damage my credit for 6 years.

This is not a legitimate debt collection practice. This is harassment based on false claims.

My Recommendation:
Avoid at all costs. If they contact you, get legal advice immediately. Do not assume they have evidence just because they're pursuing you. They pursued me despite having ZERO evidence and despite my PROOF the debt was invalid.

Update:
As of 4 March 2026, Lowell still has not provided any credit agreement or evidence of the alleged debt. The ICO is now investigating their GDPR breaches.
