Honestly been trying to sort this debt out (amongst others) since leaving the ex that put me in it. Went through an IVA to try to help, and they did nothing but change the rate from month to month and cause me a lot of stress! (And didn’t even sort out with all the debt companies, so would still be in debt once the 5 yrs was up!) Cancelled that IVA and then had no details for any of the companies still owed!
Then Lowell were calling me, but I didn’t know who it was, so I’d hang it up. I then got a letter, but before I responded (due to work and current health issues) I received a text message, with a link! Honestly so much easier and quicker to sort out, make a payment and sign up to direct debit!
Some people do not want to stay in debt, and want to get it sorted. And that text with the link gave me the perfect opportunity to get it sorted, without the stress of a phone call. I suffer with high anxiety, and it meant I could just sit down and sort it, and within 5 minutes of getting that text it was done and still got out the door on time.
