This company buys so called debts, they sent me letter 2018 saying I owed them £415 for a debt. When I contacted the advisor was rude beyond rude. I asked them to send me evidence they refused, so I took legal advice and took them to court they didn't turn up. The judge in the court explained that its not up to me to prove that I didn't owe the money but for lowell to prove I did. My advice to you all is ask them provide all evidence including a full break down to the penny to why they think you owe money if they refuse go to court. also report them to financial ombudsman service they will hate this as they get charged £550 for every complaint.The company has no legal powers and they cannot call in the bailiffs only a court can do this. ALL they can do is try obtain a ccj but the court will contact you first asking you for information So all you need to say I don't owe this money and lowell failed to provideYou with adequate information to help you resolve the issue.
