As a returning student from my academy, I'm excited to be interning this summer at a major financial institution in London within the Sales & Trading division. I want to share some insights from last summer that have enriched my experience and added value. If you check my previous comments, you'll see how this internship has shaped my understanding. I was guided by excellent mentors during my time there, which gave me a solid foundation in technical knowledge—staying updated with market news, learning arbitrage strategies, trading Forex and Equities, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the markets! This knowledge proved essential when I started trading with real capital. After the internship, I applied to other prominent investment firms, and the application process was seamless. During the final assessment, the interviewer asked about my passion for trading, and I was able to share my experiences in the Forex market and on a trading floor. As an engineering student, I feel these experiences have truly distinguished me and highlighted my genuine interest in sales & trading.
