A total letdown from the beginning to the end, with exorbitant parking fees (even for accessible parking, you had to trek a long distance). The exit process was painfully slow! There was only an overpriced gift shop tent selling low-quality items that could be found elsewhere. The food trucks had enormous queues, and the prices were outrageous—around £12-£15 for a small portion of chips and a burger that tasted bland. A hot drink cost about £5-£6 for just a couple of sips! The fair rides were subpar and overpriced at £5 per ride. Additionally, there were no stalls selling Christmas crafts or homemade goods, and the advertised Santa's grotto was nonexistent. We received an email with a schedule indicating that stalls would open at 2 PM, Christmas carols at 4 PM, and a drone show at 5 PM, followed by a fire show at 5:30 PM. There was no carol singing at all! We spent hours waiting around, trying to stay warm and keep the kids entertained. When the drones finally appeared (half an hour late), many weren't functioning properly, making it difficult to see the shapes or follow the story. For the 'grand finale,' we were left staring at a black sky because the drones stopped working entirely. The show lasted about 10-15 minutes instead of the promised 25! We even stayed for the fire show, hoping it would be better, but by then, many were already leaving in frustration. It turned out to be the same performers from the beginning, awkwardly dancing with fire sticks. At times, they dropped the sticks, had to stop to pick them up, or struggled to keep them lit. This was an absolute disgrace and a waste of both time and money. We definitely won't be returning or recommending this event to anyone!
