Avoid this experience at all costs. It took over an hour to find parking due to poor organization. The disabled parking was in a muddy area, with tractors having to pull cars out. There was no festive grotto, just one inflatable reindeer as decoration. The karaoke Christmas sing-along featured a performer who didn’t remember the lyrics. There were no village stalls, and the 16-minute drone show was too unclear to enjoy, ending with a dark sky. Many left before it finished. I spent a significant amount on this disaster. They denied refunds to many, yet suggested a new date after Christmas, which completely misses the holiday spirit. It’s shameful to treat families this way.
The event was cancelled and the new date falls on a school night, later than the original schedule! It’s impossible for us as a family to attend. Other alternatives are far away, requiring an overnight stay! We spent over £200 for 11 people! No refund offered… absolutely disappointing!
Drones purchased from the service cluttered the sky, £5 just to breathe, it brought a tear to the eye, Marshmallows to roast on a chilly winter evening, £6 each please, with sticks at no cost, if you can believe, They got us in early to rake in the cash, With long lines and little to offer, it’s quite the clash, Braving the cold, mud, and parking, it’s funny indeed, Just wait until you see the show, it’s not what you need… Anticipation was rising, holiday spirit was fading, Want your money back? There’s no use in debating, The show was shockingly late, disjointed and broken, I’m sorry madam, but this stall doesn’t take that token. A cheeky host trying to keep spirits high, Doing his best while we all wonder why, What’s about to happen under the night sky, Is a terrible waste of time, oh my, oh my. Perhaps a festive song to lighten the scene? Or something more painful, is that too mean? Take the mic from the wannabe star, That sound she is making is truly bizarre. To warm us and spread some holiday cheer, Enjoy hot chocolate for the price of a beer, Christmas snacks and crafts, you’re out of luck, Hand over £5 and you can try to hook a duck! A line for each stall, concession, or ride, When the show goes awry, we can always hide, The rollercoaster, just a tenner for two, It might take longer to spend a penny in the loo. Is this really how we kick off the holiday season, Overcharging folks without any reason? Just give us your cash, scan here or pay in hand, We’ll empty those pockets, isn’t it grand? But it’ll all be worth it when the show begins, Because Rudolph holds a place in all of our sins, Some noise, some lights, the story’s about to unfold, I hope it’s worth it, it’s freezing and cold… Then what should appear to my wondering eye, Some odd creature and perhaps a reindeer flying by, I thought to myself, that can’t be the jolly Saint, Drones tumbling from the sky, a little too quaint… I can’t recognize the figure, is that Santa or an elf? I bet he wishes he were home on the shelf… I can spot a whistle, perhaps a hammer and shop, And then most of the drones decide to just stop. Ending in darkness - a lone drone in the sky, As the story drags on, unaware of the lie, Alas, the hundreds reduced to just one, We all thought it would be a bit more fun. So next year let’s spend our money a bit wiser, Read the fine print and find a better provider, Or better yet, donate to a charitable cause, Get in the good books for old Santa Claus. Exiting this car park will be quite the fight, But to all a merry Christmas and to all a good night!
We are submitting a complaint to the local council and proceeding with a chargeback. This has been the worst experience at the venue. The management will be contacted via email, and I will be representing myself legally, so do not attempt to engage with me!
I attended a Space Safari event in a local area. The show lasted only 20 minutes, which was not communicated when I purchased the tickets—the provided schedule implied it would be a couple of hours long. The organization was poor; I waited a long time to enter the parking area, and the start of the show was postponed because other vehicles were still arriving. Overall, it felt overpriced and lacking in excitement.
Attended the event at a local venue and it was a total letdown! The food prices were outrageous, with children's rides costing £5 for just 4 minutes. The live performance featured three performers dressed as Santa, who struggled to sing. The light display was subpar, lacking animation and clarity, with too many gaps and not enough drones to create recognizable images. The narrative about Rudolf became confusing, veering off into an unrelated discussion about teeth, and even the drones seemed to give up, leaving it dark before the conclusion. Overall, it was incredibly disappointing. I chose to skip the £6 toasted marshmallows on a stick and left before the fire show, as we had seen enough. I can only imagine it involved those same three performers waving around lit matches.
This experience was a total letdown. There was no Santa's grotto, the drones malfunctioned, and we could barely see any images. The entertainment was subpar—my young children could have done better. It felt like a complete joke. The company just takes your money without delivering anything worthwhile. The parking situation was dangerous and frustrating. I paid £120 for my family to attend, and we left the drone show early because it was pointless; it stopped working after just 11 minutes and we couldn't see anything. This company is appalling, with no refunds offered, just a weak apology despite acknowledging their mistakes. I truly hope they face consequences for this, and I advise others to avoid booking events with them. It was an utter waste of time and money, and nothing about it felt festive; it was simply a scheme to profit.
A total letdown from the beginning to the end, with exorbitant parking fees (even for accessible parking, you had to trek a long distance). The exit process was painfully slow! There was only an overpriced gift shop tent selling low-quality items that could be found elsewhere. The food trucks had enormous queues, and the prices were outrageous—around £12-£15 for a small portion of chips and a burger that tasted bland. A hot drink cost about £5-£6 for just a couple of sips! The fair rides were subpar and overpriced at £5 per ride. Additionally, there were no stalls selling Christmas crafts or homemade goods, and the advertised Santa's grotto was nonexistent. We received an email with a schedule indicating that stalls would open at 2 PM, Christmas carols at 4 PM, and a drone show at 5 PM, followed by a fire show at 5:30 PM. There was no carol singing at all! We spent hours waiting around, trying to stay warm and keep the kids entertained. When the drones finally appeared (half an hour late), many weren't functioning properly, making it difficult to see the shapes or follow the story. For the 'grand finale,' we were left staring at a black sky because the drones stopped working entirely. The show lasted about 10-15 minutes instead of the promised 25! We even stayed for the fire show, hoping it would be better, but by then, many were already leaving in frustration. It turned out to be the same performers from the beginning, awkwardly dancing with fire sticks. At times, they dropped the sticks, had to stop to pick them up, or struggled to keep them lit. This was an absolute disgrace and a waste of both time and money. We definitely won't be returning or recommending this event to anyone!
We attended the Rudolph show and it was a complete disaster. There were multiple problems with the drones, as many failed to take off and participate in the display. The music and narrative soundtrack did not sync with the performance. With so many missing drones, it was impossible to figure out what they were meant to depict. The finale was completely dark as the drones landed too early. The rest of the event felt like an attempt to exploit a captive audience, with exorbitant prices for food, drinks, and rides. There were no seats, no shelter, and a lack of atmosphere. The parking situation was chaotic, with no organization from the event team. It took over an hour to exit the venue. Unfortunately, this was a major disappointment. I would not invest in this service again.
Absolute scam. Parking was awful and dangerous. Overpriced food stalls and fairground rides. No Christmas carols, no Christmas atmosphere. No seats to eat the overpriced food at! 3 hours of standing around with nothing to do in the cold and then the drone light show was delayed so even more time waiting. The audio didn't start at the right time so drones were up without any sound, then there were so few drones that no one could make out what the images were supposed to be! All drones failed before the end of the show so the big finale was a dark sky with nothing to see!!! A complete farce of an event. Don't waste your time and money.
