The experience with Children's Services has been extremely frustrating. They allowed a student social worker to harass a domestic abuse survivor parent with multiple daily calls, often within minutes of each other, despite the mother requesting that they communicate through her advocate. This request was ignored repeatedly. They issued a 'voluntary' plan and escalated to a meeting without any incidents, simply because the mother insisted on involving her advocate. This approach sends a harmful message to survivors about their ability to set boundaries.
