NOTIFICATION OF IMPENDING LEGAL ACTION.
I am writing to formally notify you regarding my watch, which you received on 12th January 2026 and for which I made payment on 20th in accordance with your estimate.
Upon chasing in March, assuming the work had been completed, I queried the time taken.
I received an email saying you had sent an email asking if they could send it to Brietling.
This is nonsense. You have serviced my watch before and sent it to Breitling without asking.
It is a Breitling watch.
You have not provided any evidence of sending this email.
You did not follow up on this email, which you claim you had sent.
There has been no follow-up until I queried the elapsed time.
It is a Breitling watch, and I have had this serviced by you before.
Despite my watch having been held for over two months, you have confirmed that no work has been carried out despite my payment.
I requested the return of my watch; however, I have received no confirmation that it has been dispatched.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be carried out within a reasonable time. Your failure to undertake any work and your continued retention of my property are unacceptable and constitute a breach of contract.
I now require that my watch be returned to me immediately.
All my correspondence and your responses are documented.
This letter serves as a formal Letter Before Action.
I strongly advise you to treat this matter with urgency.

Our main service centre is the building of 16-18 Hatton Garden and houses 12 brand accredited watchmakers, a dedicated vintage department and an entire refurbishment & polishing department.
We are proud to be one of the largest and most brand accredited service centres in the world (with service centres in both the UK and USA) and were recently the subject of short documentary made by CNN International which was broadcast across the globe and was also featured in The New York Times.
You can drop your watch off at any of our 2 locations in London (Hatton Garden & Canary Wharf), Manchester (Harvey Nichols) or New York (Madison Avenue) and no appointment is required.
You will be greeted by one of our technicians who will discuss your required repair and provide you with a detailed receipt once your watch is booked in.
Alternatively, you may send your watch to us Free of Charge by ordering our, pre-paid, secure, tracked and insured (to £25,000) postage pack.
We pride ourselves on our rapid turnaround time merged with the highest quality craftsmanship.
It is rare that any job is 'too large or too small' and we are often able to carry out part repairs such as glass replacements, crown replacements, bracelet adjustments and refurbishment & polishing, without the need for a full service.
Battery replacements & water resistance testing are carried out the same day, along with a water & pressure resistance test and receipt.See more
